People are alarmed by the statement…

Elon Musk is urging people to use Grok for medical advice after a man claimed it helped to ‘cure’ a chronic illness.

Grok is an AI chatbot created by Musk’s xAI that was first previewed back in November 2023.

Early access to the bot was given to paying premium users of Musk’s social media platform X, formerly Twitter.

Grok is also available to use on X, with one man taking to the platform to share a friend’s apparent experience using the AI bot.

The user wrote: “My close physician friend just messaged me-this is amazing: He had been following a patient with a chronic disease for many years, trying various treatments to no avail. He recently uploaded all the data to Grok, which suggested a specific treatment. Now, the patient seems cured!”

Musk himself retweeted the post, adding: “Try using @Grok for a second opinion on medical matters!”

Others took to the comment section to give their own thoughts on the chatbot’s medical capabilities, with some sharing the same sentiment.

One user wrote: “Grok is my closest friend now. Answers all my questions in record time with no BS, just facts. About anything and everything above and beyond expectations that I had imagined.”

And another said: “I recently uploaded my blood work for Grok to analyze, and got some great feedback. Generally, I think I chat more with Grok than most people I interact with.”

However, not everyone was as convinced by the technology, with others sharing their concern that people are relying on AI to treat them instead of a doctor.

One person wrote: “Ummm that’s crazy to rely on an AI for medical advices.”

Another commented: “How can you suggest something like this for medical matters? This is irresponsible statement considering impact of your statements (followership).

“We would take second opinion from another doctor, not Grok unless Grok is certified for medical treatment. Grok can be used to understand the disease or treatment.”

A third user added: “Grok is cool but don’t recommend using the internet or AI for medical advice. The results can be scary.”

A fourth user asked: “Can we really trust it? If I had trusted Google with medical advice, I’d probably be long gone by now.”

And a fifth user seemed to be having difficulty even getting a reply, writing: “Grok isn’t even responding.”

It seems fair to note that medical advice should always be taken up with a professional – and I’m not sure if Grok is quite certified just yet!

Grimes claims she’s ‘tried begging’ ex Elon Musk to keep their kids ‘off the internet’ in shocking social media post

The singer has once again spoken out about her billionaire ex

The love life of Elon Musk is a complicated one, and in the aftermath of apparently revealing his 13th and 14th children to the world, attention has again returned to one of his exes.

Originally dating Elon Musk in 2018, he and singer Grimes “semi-separated” in September 2021. Following the birth of their second son (their third child) in September 2023, she sued the tech billionaire for paternal rights in an undisclosed court case.

Although the details of the custody battle have never been revealed, his closeness with son X Æ A-12 (now just X) has led to plenty of controversy. As well as wild theories that Musk uses his son as a human shield, Grimes herself has spoken out about ‘parading’ X around the Oval Office.

Despite their separation, it seems that Grimes is constantly pulled back into the world of Mr. Musk, addressing everything from allegations he performed a Nazi salute to publicly calling out ‘power-hungry warlords’.

There was recent drama when she took to social media to plead with her ex over a ‘medical crisis’ involving one of their children, and now, she’s spectacularly grabbing headlines all over again.

Posting on X, Grimes referenced a comment about protecting her children from false online narratives and wrote: “I unfortunately do not control the internet and cannot wipe this from the internet. I have tried begging the public and my kids’ dad to keep them offline, and I’ve tried legal recourse.

“I’ve seen young ppl destroyed by the internet too. The state of my children’s lives being public is of grave concern to me and I think about how to solve this every day. It’s insane to me that there’s no way to deal with this.”

Seemingly firing shots at her ex, Grimes concluded: “I would hope there was some law that would allow a parent to veto small children from living public lives, but I don’t even trust the law to help me now if I tried to invoke it tbh.

“We are in the Wild West of information content and the dismantling of privacy and it’s very concerning.”

It comes alongside their son went viral during another visit to the White House. Musk shared snaps of Trump and X heading towards Marine One on the South Lawn, captioning it by saying, “That’s a happy picture 🥰.”

There were obvious jokes about Musk being in charge, with some claiming the POTUS is little more than a babysitter.

Musk hasn’t publicly acknowledged what Grimes has said, although it seems others share her concerns.

Responding to the post, one person wrote: “That’s rough, as a mom I can’t imagine how hard it must be to not be able to protect your children from so much public scrutiny, especially with a father as public as your ex is. I sincerely hope someday the courts will allow you the custodial rights you’d need to protect them.”

Another said: “I literally came straight here after seeing your baby being paraded around again today; let me clarify it’s NOT because I saw you say this. So please know that there are people in this world who sees through the lines. My heart freaking breaks for you and I am so, so sorry.”

While Grimes clearly has an issue with her son being ‘paraded’ around the White House, it doesn’t look like Musk is taking much notice.

Elon Musk alerts X users to ‘major cyberattack’ and points the finger at Ukraine

Thousands of reports flooded Downdetector

Elon Musk has blamed yesterday’s widespread X outage on a major cyberattack – suggesting Ukraine could be to blame.

Yesterday (10 March), the owner and CEO of X claimed that the platform (formerly known as Twitter) was targeted in a ‘massive cyber-attack’ that left many users unable to access the social media platform.

Thousands of users reported issues like posts failing to load and the site becoming unresponsive. Many Tweets that failed to appear displayed a message that ‘something went wrong’ and told users to try reloading.

According to Downdetector, a self-reporting website that monitors outages online, outage reports first spiked around 5:45 am and then again at midday. Thousands of reports were made throughout the day, with most of them occurring on X’s mobile app.

“We get attacked every day, but this was done with a lot of resources,” the Tesla CEO posted on his platform. “Either a large, coordinated group and/or a country is involved.”

However, the tech billionaire did not provide any evidence to back up his claims.

In fact, his post was responding to a cryptocurrency influencer who suggested the outage was part of a series of attacks on Musk’s enterprises.

“First, protests against DOGE. Then, Tesla stores were attacked. Now, X is down,” they wrote.

“I wouldn’t rule out the possibility that this downtime is the result of an attack on X.”

Musk also replied ‘Yes’ to comments on his post stating that people want to ‘silence you and this platform’.

However, no additional information has been provided about the service disruption or whether it was the result of a deliberate attack.

Later that day, the world’s richest man restated his claim of a cyber-attack during an interview on Fox Business. He also asserted that the attack had Ukrainian links.

“We’re not sure exactly what happened but there was a massive cyber-attack to try and bring down the X system with IP addresses originating in the Ukraine area,” the SpaceX founder explained.

Tensions have been growing between Musk, who is also Trump’s close ally, and the Ukrainian government.

Over the weekend, he stated that the country’s ‘entire front line’ would collapse if he turned off his Starlink satellite communications provider. He also called the US senator Mark Kelly a ‘traitor’ after the lawmaker posted about his visit to Ukraine.

Not to mention, Musk has a track record of linking technical issues to cyberattacks. When his conversation with Donald Trump on X was delayed by 42 minutes back in August 2024, he suggested a ‘100% probability of DDOS attacks’ at the time.

This is far from the first time they’ve clashed too

Elon Musk has once again had a social media spat with a public figure, but this time it’s the return of old rival Stephen King after the iconic horror author returned to X (formerly Twitter) after an extended absence.

If there’s one thing that you can rely on Elon Musk to do is take to social media in the face of any form of criticism. SNL has been a keen focus for him in recent weeks after Mike Myers became his resident impressionist, but he’s previously lashed out at celebrities like Cardi B and even infamous hacking group Anonymous.

Someone he always seems to gravitate back towards though is horror icon Stephen King, who has repeatedly clashed with Musk in the past and has remained ultra critical of the current Trump administration.

These battles did subside for a little while after King officially announced his departure from X, outlining that he “tried to stay, but the atmosphere has just become too toxic,” on November 14 last year, just over a week after the US election.

However, a couple of weeks ago he announced his return to the platform, asking his 6.9 million followers if they missed him before almost immediately ripping into the current government, with Elon’s role as head of the new Department of Government Efficiency a particular focal point.

King’s first post after returning called President Trump a “traitorous, Putin-loving dips***,” adding that the same “goes double for Elon!”

Among other Trump-targeted jabs, King also claimed that “Trump and Vance threw Zelenskyy under the bus because people are angry about Musk’s crazy cutting spree,” and retweeted an announcement from Ontario premier Doug Ford about the cancellation of Canadian Starlink contracts.

Musk, of course, couldn’t resist getting in on the act himself, as he responded to a joke King made about Trump by asking: “How do we know you’re really Stephen Ling?” [sic]

Spelling mistakes aside, King’s extensive follower count would indicate that it is indeed the horror author, although Musk’s controversial changes to the verification badge shortly after taking over Twitter have made instances like this harder to confidently distinguish.

Their latest clash has ignited a rather poorly received joke from Musk, after King wrote, likely once again in reference to the current government: “It’s official: The lunatics are running the asylum.”

Musk responded remarking: “Never a dull moment! Admit it, you love asylums [laughing emoji].”

Things haven’t always been as hostile as they are now though, as you only have to look back around two years to see King receive praise from the richest man on Earth.

“Suggestions are welcome Mr. [Crown emoji],” Musk replied to a now-deleted post from the author, likely offering his opinion following Musk’s then-recent purchase of the site.

Musk also added that “Stephen King is one of the most creative people on Earth. While I may not agree with everything he says, I do actually want to hear it.”

It’s likely that he won’t feel the same way now though, after things turned sour in the summer of last year with Musk in particular posting a bizarre AI-generated image of King with a ‘zucchini’ in his mouth.

“It’s amazing how he has tried to yuck it up to Stephen King for years, got continually and unceremoniously shot down time after time after time,” wrote one user on Reddit, “and now the only thing he can come up with is a sh***y AI prompt hahahhah what a f***ing child.”

Elon Musk makes bizarre claim that 150,000,000 ‘egg-laying chickens’ were slaughtered by Biden admin

It’s implied to be the reason why egg prices are so high

Harry Boulton

Elon Musk has once again taken aim against the Biden administration, claiming this time that they ‘slaughtered’ 150,000,000 egg-laying chickens, implying this to be the cause of soaring egg prices.

The high price of eggs was one of the biggest talking points prior to the election, and many believe that it played a key role in Donald Trump regaining the presidency.

Eggs saw a peak price of around $4.25 two months prior to the election according to Trading Economics, and many believed that Trump’s victory would see their price return to the lows of mid-2023.

However, they have since soared well beyond any previous record in the past 10 years at least, reaching a peak price-per-dozen of around $8.11 this month after climbing rapidly since the election.

This has caused a new talking point in right wing circles that blames the Biden administration by linking them to the death of 150 million chickens. This has been parroted by Elon Musk on his social media channels, where he claims that the accusations are “true” and linked to the increase in prices.

“There was an insane slaughter of 150 million egg-laying chickens ordered by the Biden administration,” outlines Musk in a recent post on X, and while this is technically true, it’s for a very different reason.

As reported by Forbes, this mass ‘slaughter’ of chickens was in line with a ‘stamping-out policy’ advised by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), which indicates that the only way to deal with highly pathogenic avian flu is to depopulate affected and exposed poultry.

These efforts began in February 2022 after a bird flu outbreak and have continued into Trump’s presidency, with an estimated 13 million chickens killed since February alone.

It also remains true that this is linked to the rise in egg prices, with recent USDA estimates indicating that egg prices will continue to rise by 41% in 2025. However, with these efforts remaining in place during the Trump administration, it’s not quite the slam dunk that Musk is positioning it to be.

With egg prices likely to continue their worrying rise, it’s likely that Musk and other right wing commenters will try to deflect from the same talking points that benefitted them greatly during the last election cycle, despite the surge being for the very same reasons.

One intriguing contradiction is that Musk’s own AI-powered chatbot Grok is repeatedly correcting his claim in the replies, outlining to users looking for fact checks that the ‘slaughter’ was due to the spread of bird flu. This is linked to previous Grok claims that Musk is a ‘significant spreader’ of misinformation, so it seems like even his own tools have turned against him.

Musk has indicated that the Biden administration was “extremely antagonistic” towards him and his companies after a Biden-era lawsuit against SpaceX was dropped by the current Department of Justice, and has repeatedly insinuated that the previous government is to blame for the two stranded astronauts currently on the International Space Station.
