Reynolds admitted his daughter, Inez, said an explicit line in the movie
Ryan Reynolds has been criticised after Deadpool & Wolverine fans discovered his daughter said an explicit line in the movie.
Fans were left in shock after Reynolds admitted that Inez, then seven, said an âinappropriateâ line in the film.
Discussing the scene while recording a commentary track alongside the filmâs director Shawn Levy, Reynolds explained Inez had a small role as Kidpool, and said a rather unexpected line: âHey, when I want your opinion Iâll take Wolverineâs d**k out of your mouth.â
Watching the scene back, Reynolds admitted: âGuiltily, that is my daughter Inez.â
âIâm so sorry we have to admit that,â said Shawn, as Ryan continued: âAnd I am father of the year over here for allowing her to say such language, which to her credit she really didnât want to say.
âAnd then [she] came back later and said âI want to say it nowâ when I started looking at other people to play.â
Shawn said that there were up to hundreds of versions of the line, adding: âYeah but Ryan, to our discredit, we made Nezzy do, I am not s*****g you, 70 to 500 versions of that line.â
âYeah, Iâm going to pay for that later,â said Ryan.

People were left disgusted over the admission, with a Reddit thread set up online to discuss Reynoldsâ comments.
One person wrote: âThereâs no reason she needed to deliver that line herself. Itâs a character with a mask and no visible mouth, it could easily have been dubbed over.â
While another commented: âSheâs the same age as my kid. I couldnât imagine ANYTHING that would 1. get me to do this to my kid (or any kid) or 2. would be okay with my husband having done it.â
And a third said: âThe, ââŚwhich, to her credit, she really didnât want to sayâŚâ is enough for me. I donât care what the âintentâ was behind the line â it is overtly sexual and no kid has any business saying it, let alone in a movie made by their parent.â
And a fourth added: âWow. This is so disgusting to me that I will truly think of it every time I see him now.â

âIf it was just swearing, thatâs one thing but an outright sexual reference? Thats gross and unnecessary. You couldâve gotten an adult to sound like a child to deliver this line,â said a fifth.
