The nightās biggest viral moments werenāt just about the action on the field.
During the broadcast, Fox cut to the 35-year-old āLove Storyā songstress who was in attendance to support her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
With Kansas City trailing 17-0 just before halftime, a commentator didnāt hold back, remarking: āWell, Taylor Swift is in attendance⦠but she hasnāt had much to cheer about yet because Travis Kelce hasnāt caught a ball.ā
The savage comment sparked a flurry of reactions on social media. āIām sorry but I burst out laughing when this happened,ā one fanĀ wrote, while anotherĀ quipped: āThis commentator is PETTY!!ā
Another added: āThese announcers are so messyā.
At the time of the commentatorās ruthless dig, the 35-year-old had yet to record a single catch, and the Chiefs were completely outmatched by the Eagles team.
However, Kelce did eventually manage to get on the board as he finished the game with just four catches for 39 yards.
Meanwhile, Patrick Mahomes put up 257 passing yards and three touchdowns, but it was his two costly turnovers that directly led to Eagles scores and put the Chiefs in an impossible position.
By the time the Chiefs finally found the end zone it was a little too late as the Eagles maintained control throughout the game.
They ended up stealing a commanding 40-22 victory and Jalen Hurts was rightfully crowned Super Bowl MVP.

All eyes have now shifted to Kelceās future as the tight end has been the subject of retirement rumors.
Mahomes spoke on behalf of his teammates, acknowledging that while the decision is ultimately Kelceās to make, he believes the star tight end isnāt done yet as he āstill has a lot of football left in him,ā according toĀ Bleacher Report.
āIāll let Travis make that decision on his own, man,ā he told reporters. āHeās given so much to this team and to the NFL and been such a joy, not only for me to work with but for people to watch. He knows he still has a lot of football left in him. You can see it. He always makes plays in the biggest moments.ā
āBut itās if he wants to put in that grind, to go out there and play 20 games to get to the Super Bowl. Heās done enough to be a gold jacket guy and a first-ballot Hall of Famer. I know he still has a love for the game. Heāll get to spend some time with his family and make that decision on his own,ā he added.
