Drew Binsky, an Arizona native, has achieved an extraordinary travel feat: visiting every country in the world, according to his website.
After quitting his teaching job in 2015, the vlogger embarked on an adventure, documenting his travel experiences on his popular YouTube channel, which boasts a staggering 5 million subscribers.
Binsky hopes his platform helps people âbecome a better traveler and save money,â adding: âI want to be the #1 resource for you when you think about traveling, and I strive to be a role model for the high school/college kids who aspire to become travelers.â
The YouTuberâs adventures have been filled with extraordinary experiences, such as encountering cannibals on Papua Island or navigating Chinaâs âworldâs narrowest cityâ.
However, he found his visit to Conakry, the capital of Guinea, to be the most shocking, sharing that it is âone of the worstâ countries he has been to âby farâ.
Check out the video below:
In a video titled âRanking the top 20 best and worst cities on earth,â Binsky explained that he was âstopped by two policemenâ 10 minutes after arriving in the city.
His friend remarked: âThe whole city is insane!â while the explorer added: âWhen I arrived there, there was a coupâŚthere were policemen lined up on the streets with big shield and bulletproof vests, like war was about to break out.â
The YouTuber then revealed that an official had âratted them outâ without providing much further context, before sharing: âNow our driver, poor Marlin, he has to deal with all this crap. Heâs negotiating with them.â
He then disclosed that their chauffeur had to pay a $20 (ÂŁ16.25) âbribeâ to be allowed to continue their journey in the vehicle. âWe got in the car and we drove off, ended up going to the next checkpoint ahead,â he added.

Out of all of the 197 nations he has visited around, Binsky said Conakry was âby far one of my least favorite places in the world,â before listing the problems he had experienced.
âThe entire city smelt like trash. It was like sewage everywhere and like, I have a high tolerance for dirty places and Iâve seen a lot of things around the worldâŚbut Conakry was noticeably the worst,â he said.
âPeople there were not very friendly at all. In fact, I tried to sit down at a restaurant and then some dude kicked me out for reasons that I donât know why,â he claimed, adding that the city felt like âone of the most unsafeâ.

Despite the overall atmosphere, Binsky did experience a positive moment with a visit to a local mosque. âOther than that, I found nothing going on in the capital of Guinea,â he added.
âAnd itâs probably a place that I will never visit again,â he concluded in his review.
